Dancing Queen

As I know that some of you are quite worried about the songs you must prepare for the Mamma Mia musical, I've been surfing the net looking for videos with English subtitles. The first one I've looked for is Dancing Queen, since it is the most wanted. It is an old version, but I haven't been able to find any more modern!! Sorry!

Try to follow the lyrics!!

If I have time this weekend, I'll try to cut the song from the film I have with the subtitles in English, but I can't promise anything!!

Enjoy yourselves and have a nice weekend!

ESO 4IN2 Halloween Projects

These are some of the Halloween projects my students of 4ºIN2 have done to celebrate Halloween at school. They had to tell some scary stories using the materials and resources they wanted.

The first one is the audio file Alexis González and Ángela Pérez have recorded. Isn't the voice familiar to you?

The second project is a video prepared by Sara Díaz and Claudia Rivas. Enjoy it!

The third one is the video Lucía Cobeñas and Paula Fernandez prepared at home.

The next one is a presentation Andrea Herrera and Querén Herrera have made.

The last Halloween project has something to do with a doll... but due to some technical problems the only thing we have by now is this image...

Isn't there something really scary about it? I'm willing to know the whole story. I'm sure you too!! So, Darío Telonero and Álvaro Lara, don't make us wait too long for it, please!!

I'm so proud of my students!! Keep on doing so well!!

Have a very nice day!

Halloween is coming!

Boo!
Halloween is just around the corner!!

Halloween is celebrated during the night of October 31st. The date commemorates "the All Saints' Day", also named "the Hollows Day".

On Halloween, children wear fancy dress costumes and they knock on doors and say "Trick or treat." People open the doors and give the children lots of sweets. Orange and black are the Halloween colours. Orange is the colour of pumpkins and black is the colour of darkness. Halloween is a fun holiday!!!

What do you think about it? Do you celebrate it?

Take a look to this slide if you want to learn new vocabulary related to Halloween. Maybe you will need it for your English projects!!

For those students who love singing here you are "This is Halloween". I hope you enjoy it!

And for my students of ESO 1 here you are a funny video to revise the parts of the body.

Have a nice day!!

My Bedroom

Can you describe this bedroom?
Name 10 things that there are in the room and 5 objects that there aren't.

How many pictures are there?
Are there any lamps?
Are there any cushions?
Is there a carpet?

Now create your own bedroom, your ideal bedroom.
Use Ikea magazines-or any other- and cut and glue different pieces of furniture.
Write the title on the cardboard: My Ideal Bedroom.
Then, label all objects that appear and write at least 10 sentences describing it.

Use:
• There is / are
• There isn't / aren't
• The verb "Have got"
• A/an / some / any
• Colours
• Adjectives (remember they appear before the noun or after the verb)
• Prepositions

Then and Now

My 3rd and 4th ESO students have been working on a very special project: talking about their past and present. They have done a very good job!!

Let's see some of the results:

by Ramona Grancea (3º A)

by Daniel Mata (3º A)

by Fran J. Martín -a.k.a. Paco P.- (3º A)

Don't you think I got rid of appearing in the project!! One of my students did his project on me. Isn't it great?

by Juan Antonio Leandro (3º A)

There are many more projects but as I haven't got your parents' consent to publish your pictures, I cannot post them. That's a shame!

Thank you so much for working so hard in this project. Keep on doing like this!!

Have a nice day!
